Up that steep hill
The recent thread here about the Buttermilk Hill got me thinking more of the area. The steep hillclimb that we were talking about in Anish's post has provided me with numerous excellent photographs. I don't think I've posted this image here before.

Ebony SV45U and a lens from my bag (probably the 90mm and Delta 100).

Great composition. The perspective here provides much better flow from FG to BG than what I was able to find. I'm hoping to return and further explore this area.

Jeffrey, yes this works all the way around. I really like the depth the B&W has even here at web size. A truly wonderful look at this great area.
Cory's backyard as it were.

Jeffrey, you're really showing off the ruggedness of the Buttermilks! I like the arrow pattern the rocks and mountains are making. The coulds are doing pretty much the same thing. Nice.

Beautiful, Jeffery, love the BW, I'm sure a color image would be beautiful too, but the Buttermilks were made for BW :toast:

Nicely done, Jeffrey. This a very well done representation of truly awsome country.

This one of those B&W's that could be interpreted in several different ways.

Good job!

Lovely. The B&W works well here and creates the right mood.

Nice one Jeffrey. It is a fun hill to climb in the jeep. Haven't been up there in awhile. As you mentioned 4x4 isn't needed on the Buttermilk Rd, but high clearance sure makes it a lot easier and less stressful!
