Adder..
Just sorting through some images from the past couple of days here in Norfolk and thought I'd share this adder with you.. I'd hoped for a tongue flick but she didn't oblige me.. She was one of 5 individuals at this particular location, all within a couple of meters of each other..!

Have a pleasant evening folks..

Brett

With or without the tongue still an excellent image. The eye is brilliant.

Very nice shot, Brett. I like the pov but I'm not quite sure about the oof part of its body. I am tempted to cropp a little bit off the bottom. But that's personal.

Yes I think I'd go for a full head shot. Good stuff though.

Nice shot Brett, I like the perspective given by the OOF body in the foregorund and the composition suits itself well to editorial use.

And I see you have a few pics in the new Reptile and Amphibian book by WildGuides, congrats.

I do like the details & colours shown on the snakes head especially the eye. Nice comp & the adder stands out well against the plain bg.

What I want to know is why isn't it staring directly at you? I thought all your adders did that LOL. Lovely shot, although I do find that bottom left hand corner a little distracting.

Trust you to find some of these whilst away

A super shot Brett, and I'm glad the trip was worthwhile for you.
