Female Chaffinch

Image of a Female Chaffinch coming in to land on a branch (just out of shot)

Canon 1Dmk3 EF500f4 + 1.4x Conv, iso200, 1/800th sec, f8, tripod, cropped.

Certainly the right bits saharp Peter. I'd take a slice off the left hand side- have the head about half way across the shot.
Cheers

A difficult shot well taken, just the right amount of wing blur with sharp details in the head .

Works very well, Peter. The right amount of blur in the wings makes it for me.
Cheers,

A lovely image. Very nice blur in the wings and you have managed to retain good detail and sharpness where it counts. Like it!

Great action shot, very well done. I agree with cropping a bit away on the left side. :toast:

I'll bet you took a lot of frames to get one sharp one - very nice!
