Visited Crested Butte the other week to do a little wildflower photography. The clouds rolled in early which made for nice light on close-ups, but tricky when trying to include some of the surrounding scenery. Found a nice little group of Lupine along the shores of Lake Irwin. I tried several different versions of this using various combinations of polarizer and GND filter. This one turned out the best. Nothing particularly stunning, but its representative of the conditions that morning. Cropping this to 4x5 seemed to help the comp a little. Maybe, maybe not. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a nice calm day for a walk around the lake - the flowers look really nice, deep color.

I like the comp, even thought it is a bit left heavy. The exposure and colors are really good, maybe just a little less brightness in the clouds in the sky. The reflection is great.
