PD a la TC
Chuck's Paradise Divide shot inspired me to post this one, which I took on a great trip with Todd last Fall.

Todd took me here on our first day. His opening statement to me, at I think 5am, was, "OK Florida boy, let's see if the altitude makes you puke."

Then, when we get to PD, he parks in a spot where the passenger side's tires are about 1" from a sheer drop and says, "Watch the first step."

40D + 17-85 @ 24mm, F16, 1.3 sec, ISO 100, altitude sickness negligible

Very nice Lance. Excellent light on the peaks. Not to be a dunce but where is PD? Nice of Todd to give you so much footroom exiting the car :wink: Does he provide barfbags for flatlanders?

This is well composed and just beautiful!
Love the grass in the foreground. I'm glad you were able to take home an image like this one.
