This is the creek that feeds Big Pine Lake in the Holy Cross Wilderness taken on a backpacking trip almost a week ago.
Everywhere I go this summer I find scenes like this. Lush vegetation loaded with buds but no flowers. Where are the flowers?
I think you guys swiped them all and took them to Crested Butte and I want them back.
I'm leaving on a three day trip on Saturday morning so you flower rustlers have less than 24 hours to put them back where you found them or else I wont show you pictures of the lovely waterfall in the upper right corner of this image. Get crackin' !!!
[Edit: I hate color management. On the Mac the colors look pretty good. On a different machine the greens look pretty wild]

Nice image! I like the stream playing "peek-a-boo" through the foliage.
I know what you mean regarding color management! Images that look great on my Mac look very dark on a PC. When using "Save for Web" you can chose Standard Windows Color, Standard Mac Color, or Uncompensated Color to get an idea of what your image will look like on other systems. I generally lighten my images just a tad before saving for web so they don't look so dark on PCs.
