Autumn colour in Scotland

Can I ask for advice on the best time to shoot autumn colour in Scotland? Which weeks are most likely to be best? From what I remember it should be October sometime?

Last year I was in Scotland for the last week of October and the first week of November, the colours were really good then, but it can vary a little depending on the wind and weather.
