Mold Spores or bug eggs?
I have an old silver panel reflector that I decided to pull out of the shop and use today and it had a growth that should not be there. I had used it last week out in the yard and it was "growth free" and a little dusty. Now it has eggs or spores on it.

Clues: No food ever touched this panel
Kept in a dry area
Area is about 4 inches by 2 inches
Objects are 1 inch tall

Just curious on what this may be. Image quality is not that great, but should be good enough for ideas.

Hi Mike,

It looks to me like you have lacewing eggs. You can find natural history information about them here

By the way, they look like they've already hatched.

Nice series of photos!

Best, Don
