What a Mess
Leopard Slug Limax maximus

Caught this pair in my garden in the final act of mating as their male organs are entwined and the transfer of sperm is taking place.

I think this is excellent. Never seen it myself. If you could stick a lighter back ground in!!!

I like the dark background, I think it works well to present the subject. I would be inclined though to add a little canvas to centralise the subject.

Hi Terry,

Super capture! I also like the dark bg and agree with John about centralising the subject.

Cheers,

Lewis.

Impresive, i remember seeing this on a TV program once. It only happens at night doesnt it?

Thanks all for you comments, I have some with it in the middle also, I personally prefer it off centre. I have also tried lightening the background and preferred this version.

Paul yes you are correct it only happens at night, this was taken around 9:45pm hence the use of flash.
