Early mornimg Little Ringed Plover
I photographed this Little Ringed Plover in a local wetland early in the morning. Some bedewed grass provided the soft foreground.
Taken with Nikon D80 @ 420 mm, iso 320, F 5,6, 1/100 sec on a ground pod.

Hi Sandra, I like the picture, but I think it would be better if you crop a little from the bottom (or the bird a little lower in the frame). Do like to OoF FG with the dewdrops.

Very nice image indeed, l'm with Tom though in that I would have the subject a little lower and reduce the foreground area a little.

Terrific, Sandra.

I quite like it when the subject is in a 'top' third and the foreground provides a minimalist frame.

Nice lighting and soft colours. I got called a jessie for liking pastel colours but if you see this image, you must appreciate them!

Hi Sandra,

Super shot! Agree with the suggestions about loosing some foreground, not much though, just a touch above your name me thinks. All down to personal choice of course.

Cheers,

Lewis.

Fantastic image Sandra! I love the colours and the dew drops (and of course the bird). I'd agree with the suggestions about cropping as a finished article, but only a small amount off. If it was intended for a stock library for example, I'd keep as it is - gives potential users more choice (e.g. they might want to use the bottom part for text...).

Yes, really atmospheric. I like it just as it is. Excellent.

Lovely how the background echoes the foreground - fading to grey-blue and back to green

A beautiful image. I can see the points about cropping, but I like it as posted.
