I've been editing a few images I took a few years ago and came across this one that I thought i'd share. I've cropped it to panoramic to lose a lot of empty sky and sea. I hope it works. I've used the ratio 8:3. Is there a general ratio that is normally used for panoramics.
works for me as well Ian, I would like to see a larger version. I might be tempted to clone the 2 birds on the right hand side that are clipped by the edge of the frame.

Hi everyone
Thanks for your comments. They are very encouraging. I agree about the two birds to the right of the frame. With Matts comments on the larger version, how do I go about putting the 1000px version on? Ive seen it on a few peoples post now but i cant see anywhere on how to do it.

There is no general ratio that is used for panoramics.

I like A 3:1 Ratio: replicates the X-Pan

Hi Ian,
Love this! The line made by the Oystercatchers and the waves behind make it IMO.

Lewis.
I also like a 3:1 ratio for panaromics.
