Mountain wildflowers
Just returned from a nice 4 day trip to the San Juans. What a great year for wildflowers. Here is the first from YB basin. Amazing for being at 11.500'.

Mother nature makes the best bouquets. Glad you had good flower conditions. Post more !

Very nice!
Love how they're framed with so much interesting greenery.

I agree with John, the interesting and diverse greenery around the flowers makes a great background, and the mix of flowers themselves are beautiful!.

Ditto what others said. This year seems to be the year of flowery forests. There are a few spots up high with good displays (or were), but the real show this year seems to be in that montaine/sub-alpine zone.

Excellent comp and light, Klaus. I also agree about the greenery being a great background.

I'm liking this too! There is just enough color in there to hold your attention and the light is good too. I like the greens here, not overdone.
