After an afternoon rain last week, a mist rose in the woods and I got a nudge to head over to Blue Hen Falls. Hadn't shot there in almost a year, so I was overdue.
This shot is from up on the bank opposite the normal viewing area. I had just set up my tripod when the sun broke through for only a few moments.

Unless you have never been to Blue Hen Falls, and understand where Chuck was when he made his image... it's tough to appreciate it.
I DO.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I have time tomorrow ............ I'll explain... but suffice it to say..... few images from this side of the falls, and angle have EVER been made successfully............... let alone with this light.
When I get time I'll elaborate, but Chuck... you are are to be commended, for seeing the image and then ......getting to this spot to make this image.
The only thing I really REALLY don't like about this image is .................. that I didn't shoot it.
KUDOS ........... and I mean KUDOS---( again you don't know what he went tthrough to gwt thisshot) CHIUCK!

Beautiful Image, Chuck! The composition and light are exceptional, and I appreciate Jack's comments on what it took to get the image.

That's why you got the nudge to go to Blue Hen Falls. Chuck...you may never experience this again! Beautiful capture of the shafts of light and the falls!
