Canadian Rainbow
This was taken on July 25th on Vancouver Island near Ladysmith. It was about 85 degrees and humid that evening. This rainbow came before one of the best lightning show's I've ever seen. Yhe colors that evening were spectacular. The storm lasted for about 5 hours and you could hear it off in the distance till 3am.

Great color, and I especially like the composition. It invites me to have a seat and enjoy!

On my monitor there is some banding of the color in the brightest areas, maybe due to compression for the web (or the highlights blown a little in the red channel)?

The web compression didn't do it any favors.

beautiful colors and you've set the scene very well. I like simple moments like this.

Great colors. The scene here reminds me a lot of the San Juan Islands which I recently took a trip to. The Islands up there are incredibly beautiful.

I agree about the web compression, but I like the moment you captured Erik. Would have loved to see the lightning show!
