I hate to post images 2 days running, but here's some more from the Sunflower fields, I promise this will be it for a few days
I was tracking radar last night and noticed some storm clouds hanging around, so thought I'd run out and see what I could get with the sunflower fields again. Not sure these ones are any better than the last set, but the clouds were certainly more interesting. After sunset they REALLY lit up, casting a glow on everything, I had to desaturate these.
These are all one exposure, but probably could play around with using blends for some from last night, the sky was mighty bright in areas, and the fields might dark.
Canon 5Dmkii, Canon 24-105 4L, step ladder for some shots.

I favor #3 over the others. The colors just sizzle!
I live in the "Sunflower State" but sadly this year, I haven't heard of any good sunflower fields. Most of the farmers are planting bigger cash crops like beans and corn, rather than visually pleasing crops like sunflowers. I may have to move to CO just so I can shoot fields like this!

Anyone know if the sunflowers by DIA are there right now?

Aaaaahhhh, fields of sunflowers. Very nice. Love the color in the sky, too.
