On the ball,.. (+reposts)

..a wooden one on top of a bird table in my front garden. This juvenile robin found it a convenient perch whilst taking in the sun this morning.

Just managed to get back on line. This dial up is a bit out of date.
Great lens David( same as mine)
Pity about the head. Its not really sharp. You can get away with any other bit but not the eye or the head.
Not too sure abut the ball ?

Thanks for the comments, gentlemen. I had my doubts about the sharpness of the head and you have confirmed it John. Yes considering it is a wide ranging zoom it is a great lens. the 50-500mm.

I'm suprised you didn't go in a bit closer David to check out any insect life that might be nestled amongst those feathers
