A Stan Dunes trifle
Took off for the Dunes last Tuesday afternoon for sunset. Nothing too spectacular happened but thought I'd post this meager offering. An odd plus was there was absolutely no wind. This is a single manual exposure tone mapped in Photomatix just for grins. Thanks for your thoughts.

Totally granular! Serioulsy, excellent detail in the foreground Pam. I might be tempted to lose the sky all together since there is not much going on there and crop it to square. I am curious though, which lens did you use? :toast: :toast:

Love the forground and the ripples in the sand. Very nice, Pam.

This is sweet! Those clouds really make the shot! Isnt it cool how the grasses make those circular patterns in the sand?--i have a bunch of shots just of those circles, theyre real plain but i like em.

I like this very much, especially the nice light on the little clouds.
