Shot some IR while I was down in the San Juans last weekend. Here is one I like.

Beautiful image, Klaus! What's the technique here? Film? Converted camera?

While I like this a lot, I like the color version better.

Excellent choice for IR!
Just as good as your last composition from this spot.

Very nice. I bet it is also a great color image too.

I love a good IR shot, which this is. Great work! Klaus, did you use a RM72 filter or something like it for this shot?

I love the composition, and I love infrared. Have you considered increasing the contrast a little on this shot?
Like other posters, I'm curious what technique you used. I've found that using an RM72 filter over my Canon 5D (which has NOT had its infrared blocking filter removed) works - sort of. Exposure times are looong, and I get hot spots. So I;m curious here - have you had a camera modified to shoot infrared, or did you simply use a filter over a "stock" body?

The composition and IR choice is SPOT-ON! Very, very nice. The highlight zones do seem a bit flat though. Could just be my monitor. Excellent.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments and thoughts.
This shot was taken with an IR modified Canon 50D (820nm)
I had Lifepixel modifiy it back in January. No filter was used over the lens.
Exposure time was 1/4th sec @ f/18 iso 100
