Had a really cool storm come across the city right at sunset tonight, thought I'd share a couple photos.

this looks like the southern view of the cloud I saw this evening from Lakewood, Green Mtn. Is that possible? These are great shots. Made me think of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Like #3 best.

Scott.... beautiful views....the second one is like a mushroom cloud after a nuclear explosion... Love the colors in the first one..... great job capturing these...

It kind of reminds me of something from the movie Independance Day. Nice job.

Reminds me of the film Independence Day with the alien spacecraft appearing from behind a similarly shaped cloud. Impressive!

So that's what was dumping all that rain on me.
Simply amazing photos Scott!

I think this is the storm that dropped the golf ball hail on my house last night. We've never gotten hail larger than pea sized before.
#1 and #3 are both sweet Scott.
