OK so it's not a bird or a deer, but it is nature.
I'm on the go just before dawn a lot these days and this was one of the first mornings without dew for a long time.
Just sitting down listening to the birds starting their songs and the occasional roe deer barking in the distance. I was looking at a lot of dandelions and decided to try the wee camera on one of them
an interesting shot John and you've taken it well. The exposure looks good and the sky is very attractive. I'm not quite sure about the composition though, I think it's partly the fact that the left hand bushes are cut by the edge of the frame. Can't quite put my finger on it though!
Works well for me - too often subjects are portrayed out of context, but not here. This is simple and elegant, and also a very thoughtful image. The bushes are fine imho, and I particularly like the gap between bush and stalk - with the little rise of horizon - thats a wee gem compositionally. D-lux or Ds3 - who cares - its the eye and the idea that matters. Nice one John.
