Was out doing a reptile one-to-one last Friday and whilst we had a good number of adder and slow-worm to photograph, I couldn't help grab a couple of macro shots along the way. I think there are at least three 'bugs' on this plant and probably more.. Some really good shows of butterflies this year and the bees seem to be doing better in this neck of the woods..
A little tight maybe but if I moved back any further I would have had more thistle heads in the shot so decided this was the better option..
I find it difficult to critique your macro images Brett without sounding sychophantic. Another great shot. Can you post a couple of rubbish images that I can give some stick so nobody can accuse me of being a creep !! p.s. I'd put one of those bouncy little smiley critters at the end of this but I still haven't worked out how to do it !!!

A most accomplished shot imo Brett - much kudos

Robert.. you make me chuckle..
Mark - Glad things are good for you and long may it continue..
