How about some feedback on this one from this morning? I would like to post it in fauna but have spent the last two hours tweeking (capture nx2) the flare and hat shade imposed vignette from the sky. That is way longer than I normally look at an image. That means I fear I am not seeing this clearly. Should I try to tone down the rim lighting along his back and neck or leave it as is? Thanks.

Some quick thoughts Lon; lose some of the negative space at bottom, add some canvas above the sun and crop a little off the left.
I love the silhouette, rim light and movement toward the sun. Very nice work!
BTW, congrats on the EP!

Nice capture!
Only concern I would have is that some might think it is from over sharpening.

ditto to what Wayne wrote, otherwise I like the image

Thanks guys. I had the thought of just such improvement, but adding canvas over that sun is probably beyond my pp skill and software capability. The only reason I left the space on the bottom is to maintain ratio. How would it look if I just cropped it from the bottom for a more pano look?

I like the idea, a step in the right direction.

I agree with both Wayne's original suggestions and your proposed alternative.

A little late commenting, but wanted to say what a great image this is. A pano crop would work well here I think.
