Bee on thistle
Coming back from lunch yesterday stopped to shoot some jewel weed. Found some black bumble bees working on thistles. There was plenty of pollen to go around.

Sweet image Kendall! Your focus is dead on. Your subject looks like it is covered!

While out and about yesterday capturing images of the Chicory on our property or property lines I saw a bee working a Bull Thistle blossom. Noticed that it really burrowed into the blossom for pollen and worked the blossom pretty thoroughly. Haven't had time to process yet.

That's a great shot, Kendall! You got great depth of field and I like the composition...

Great shot and great dof. My only nit would be to try a little more brightness to bring out the color in the flower and the bee.

That's one happy bee! Nice comp and detail, Kendall. A bit more saturation would make it really pop.
