Paradise Park B&W Redux
Watanga Mountain & Unnamed Spire

Its been, well... forever since I've posted an image here. But with Erik posting all his beautiful images from our trip to Paradise Park, I thought I'd better slap down some proof that I actually went with him. This is a mid-afternoon image from just below our 2nd camp.

Comments/critiques most welcome.

I like the clear separation between water, land and sky in this image ... enhanced by both the comp and the processing. The foreground rock is a nice place to start. Appealing image, for my tastes. I admit, I do like tighter more intimate views for b/w landscapes.

Very nice image. Like the BW and the multiple layer composition.

Nice Scott! I particularly like the reflection of the rock in the water it is subtle in this presentation but adds a lot to the image!!

Erik makes a good observation about the rock reflection - sweet shot!

Really nice range of tones. I think you must have all of them from 1 to 10.
