All these recent great photos have prompted me to go...to my hardrive! Yeah, I have some trips planned. Y'all are inspiring me. Here's what I found sittin down.
When I first processed these I didn't have CS3 or missed out on basics of RAW processing in ACR. So I employed the fill light and other features for the scenic. Also started playing with layer masks to tweak. Feedback appreciated.

#1 for me, I love the light. Very nice, very sharp. The second one needs a lift, more contrast?

The canyon shot is beautiful!

#1 is a beautiful composition of Zion. It seems a little over warmed in some areas. The blue sky has taken on a muddy gray tone. Otherwise, the processing is very pleasing and the composition is excellent.
#2 has a great variety of subject. It appears to be placed and as such, while they are balanced with each other, the leaves seem forced onto the center line of the frame. A wider more triangular distribution of the leaves within the frame would be better in my opinion. Again the white balance seems quite warm. At a cooler temp, a warm/cool contrast might develop and really sing.

I really like #1 a lot. A much cooler white balance on #2 might really help the presentation. ?
