Hello everyone!
New guy to the forums here and very glad I have found it.
A little bit about me..
I am new to photography and have much to learn but look forward to learning the ropes!
I am most interested in community building and meet and greats and hope things really go well for this new community.
I have been hanging around with a great group from Winnipeg Canada and have seen the great photo community they have there, it's amazing really.

Logistics wise though it is good to find a community closer to home though :wavey:
I was born and raised in Alaska but have had the good fortune to travel but call Alaska home.
Have a great week and I look forward to meeting the folk's in my neck of the woods.

Hey Dennis!

Welcome. Seeing your name, I had guessed you were local before I even opened your post.

Where are you located now, and what kinds of photography interest you?

Welcome to NPN and the Alaska Forum. I look forward to your photos. NPN is the best place on the Web to learn nature photography.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone!

To Hank: I am living in Anchorage and what interests me the most in photo is people! But I enjoy Nature photo as well!

To Sandy:
You are really lucky living in the East bay,
I spent 10 years in Monterey California and to be honest I find it to be a great place for photo and outdoor activity!
Ease of access is wonderful and so much more simple to get to great places than Alaska.
It's a toss up for me where I have enjoyed living the most, The central coast of Alaska.
