Red Grouse
Hi All,

Following on from Jack's cracking image, here's one of mine from the trip taken on our last morning session. It was nice to meet Simon Phillpots up there and to see the sun too!

Techs:

Nikon D2X, 200-400MM, 1.4 tc and car hide.
1/80th Sec at f5.6, ISO 800

C and C welcome

Regards Chris.

i recognise him , good to see you're up and posting again Chris, lovely shot with the light and pose though you know i'd prefer it composed with the whole bird, then again each to their own

thanks for the comments all.

John - we did have one opportunity but unfortunately he was facing away from us at time so no images were taken. Agreed though it would have been a good finishing touch.
