Osprey Fishing
Hi all.

Just back from a trip with my fiance upto the Cairngorms. 2 weeks of absolute bliss camping on the Rothiemurchus estate. Took several cards worth of photos so thought I would post a few.

First is a shot taken during a morning session at the Rothiemruchus fishery with Keith Collins. Low light meant working at high iso's but some images turned out pretty good especially for a first try at birds in flight photography and in particular of Osprey's.

A slight amount of noise reduction, some sharpening and a crop of approx 1/3 other than that image as taken. Oh and leg tag cloned out.

C&C most welcome.

Good one Ben.
I reckon you could do a bit more on the noise reduction. ( I appreciate its 1600 !! )It does show a bit.
It would be difficult selecting around the bird though.
Cheers

not really used noise reduction part of CS3 before so will give it another go.

Hopefully this is a bit better. New to noise reduction but this seems to be a bit better. Basically cut out bird and reduced noise on background.

The repost is miles better, a brilliant shot and I love the blur in the wings and fish.

Superb action shot and second post works much better, a little bit of selective sharpening on the bird will make it pop and maybe a little CCW rotation so the bird/water isn't going up hill..

Quite envious as it's one of my favourite birds so I think I have some holiday plans for next year..

Cheers guys.

Definately worth a visit Brett. Was considering phoning work and handing in my resignation to stay up there.
