Juvenile coot again
1D2n, 600mm f4 is x1.4TC. 1/800s, f6.3, iso 400

I faced a new problem tonight - a howling gale. I usually like flat calm water, but that clearly wasn't an option. With the lens at water level, autofocus was almost impossible due to the waves. The birds kept popping up and down. I was happy to get anyting at all! I actually like the effect the wind had on the water.

Hi Ian,

I really like this, works very well IMO with the waves!

Cheers,

Lewis.

Hi Ian,

You are the master of Coot images. I like both your still water and choppy water versions. The low POV and strong composition engages the viewer.

Very nicely done.

Cheers

Austin

I like this too. The choppiness of the water really adds to the image. Most jealous of your eye level set up.

Chris.
