Like many this summer I spent a week at Martinselkosen with the bears. The weather was not the best and some nights were not photographicaly good but the experience is amazing. This bear decided to run across a boggy patch, I had the 300 plus converter on and no opertunity to change lenses, initially I thought cutting the body in half because the lens was too large would ruin the shots, viewing them later I decided I liked the large image size only showing the front half of the bear.

I think I would like more room on the right but a great image. Must be nice to get something that "over fills" the frame

great light and detail, not entirely sure about it in some ways though, i don't think the pose isn't quite there for this close a composition, different image though

Lovely action caught here, with great detail thoughout the bear, very nice to see Paul
a beautiful looking animal Paul. Ideally it would have a bit more space around it IMO, but still a nice image.

Tricky situation but handled very well with some great detail and action portrayed. I think I would have liked a 'landscape' orientation to give the bear some more space all round and contextualise the action.
