Alpine Loop - need feedback
Well, despite the clear skies i still had fun driving the Loop on Monday, cant beat the high passes! Here's the pics, if you get a chance i would really apreciate if you can tell me which 2 or 3 you think are best. :smile:

Is that Hurricane Pass you went over, too? Also, did you rent a Jeep, or buy a new (to you) one?

If I was to pick a favorite out of the whole group it would definitely be number 8. Nice group of images! I'll be in Stan Dunes tomorrow hoping for one of those magical images.

Thanks, guys! Todd--i rented one from Lake City Auto--wasnt too bad for $120 and i picked it up the night before so i wouldnt miss sunset/sunrise. It amazes me those things still run with all the abuse they take in a summer! :biggrin:

The ones that most make me think, "Wish I was there," are 3, 12, and 17. The flowers in 8 and the S-curve in 5 are pretty sweet too.

Stan, nice work. Like 8, 11 and 17. Probably would crop top 1/3 of 15.

It's hard to pick from such wonderful scenery, but 3 and 8 work for me. Looks like a great drive.

The image above is my fav. Great series, altogether, though. Beautiful area, isn't it?
