eagle is coming
A white tailed sea eagle taken with the Eagle Man of Norway, Ole Martin Dahl and a geezer called Danny( I have no card in my camera) Green.5 days in Norway in such wonderful scenery near Lauvsnes north west Norway and a few sea eagles for company was sheer magic. A dream of an experience not only to watch these wonderful creatures hunting but also to capture them in just perfect light and environment.

Beautiful shot Mark :toast:

I would like to see the 8 or so little bright spots just above the water cloned out  bit thats maybe just me.

I would still love a chance to take a shot like that :wavey:

Superb work Mark and I really like the awesome power captured in the action of this shot. I don't know that I would have bothered about the areas Ian mentions but now I look at them I'm inclined to agree..

Really very nice.

Top end of Floan fjord first thing in the morning Mark - turn left out of the harbour and under the bridge?

Well executed shot by the looks of things matey, and as Dave says, the spray makes it a bit special :toast:

Looking forward to seeing more Mark...

Beautiful shot Mark and just love the water spray. Think I agree with Ian about the light spots but that would only change it from 99.999% to 100% :wavey:

All I am going to say is brilliant.... you have used the light well to create something special, as said clone out the row of spots to lift it to another level (not something I normally advocate)

I now have so many places I want to go :frown:

Wow thanks all . I have a few keepers lets say .After a couple of days of 'stock' shots it was time to experiment .I do have another which I'm saving . For me the shot of a lifetime .My best shot? I'm yet to take that .LOL However , Patrick and Danny have seen it .
Patrick, fantastic to meet you , a super guy and superb photographer to boot. You Belgian B*&^%$D!LOL. I'll see you October.. That's a promise.Only this time the 600mm can be on a tripod.
Danny again thank you . Your F'in snoring needs medical treatment mate .'' Danny roll over mate , Danny ! Roll over mate ,For F%&k's sake Danny, 4 F'in hours I've had to put up with this now ROLL F'IN OVER!'' Ring any bells?
Oh and when it says in the display 'No card',it usually means dont bother shooting .Just think that burst probably contained the shot of the trip.
It was one hell of an experience .Short of advertising please if you want to know more PM me.
Ole Martin Dahl a legend in his own Fjord and certainly in my eyes. The conservation work and his enthusiasm for his country and its wildlife is benchmark stuff.Hats off to you Ole .
"Eagle is coming ". How can those few simple words put the fear of God into you? Trust me they do.!
Thanks again all .

Hello Mark.

Been looking at all these excellent eagle pictures and think you should give your self a pat on the back. As this is the best one out of them all.

Great capture Mark well done.
