Hey all, it's been a while! I just got back last week from a summer long trip to Door County, WI, and finally got around to looking at some of my shots. This was one of the definite "keepers" taken at the Door Bluff County Park at the northern tip of the peninsula. I'll be sure to start posting more from the trip...I've got quite a few I'm happy with. I also look forward to seeing and commenting on other photos here again  Anyways, C+C more than welcome.

I like the warm light here, Nathaniel. My feeling is that the image needs a focal point, especially with the center part of the image relatively empty.

While I like the lighting in this image, I have to agree with Chuck...my eyes keep wandering throughout the image with no focal point as a resting place.

Also, Nathaniel...in the future please keep your posted images below the 200K limit...the properties on this one shows as being 297K. If you want to go over that limit, you can provide a link to a larger version. Thanks!!

I like the colors but would agree with the lack of a focal point. I've hiked in this agrea and there are some great shots to be had.

I agree with the previous comments about the lack of a center of interest. It's possible that by simply recomposing the existing elements and/or repositioning yourself you could make this work.
