White-tailed Eagle
I have just come back from a trip to Norway where I have spent the past week with Ole Martin Dahl. It has been five years since I last photographed Ole's eagles and so I was keen to increase my coverage of this spectacular bird and we were blessed with some fantastic weather and most importantly the wind was in the perfect direction all week. This is my favorite from the trip, the light was perfect and I really like how the eagle was looking down at the fish to see what it had got for breakfast.

It's an image I would love to have taken Danny but on this occassion I think Mark's previous post (eagle is coming) which appears to have been taken at near enough the same time, has caught the light better.

Yahoo! Two chances at this and standing up in a boat as an eagle flies by at 40 miles an hour takes some doing .Processed bang on .Composed and shot with perfection , as if it was easy composing .A 2 pound coal fish plucked from the water with ease .I can see why its your favourite and something special to take away from the trip.
Boy am I pleased that Belgian B$^£&%D isn't a member here !

Wonderful light - one of those images which would also have worked well with the bird further to the right in the frame making the most of the wonderful backlit spray!

A lovely image although I think because of the way the light is highligting the water droplets I'd have prefered to see the eagle further across the frame with more water droplets behind.
