This one for some reason David all looks a bit unatural for ma.

I like this - I find the detail achieved with macro quite astonishing - am looking at insects in a different light these days!

David

Very nice detail but does the brown leaf over power the image?

Thank you for taking the trouble to comment.

Major I find with my images you need to stand (or sit) at least one and a half metres away to view them without the colours being too much 'in your face'.

Great Kim, that is what I try to achieve with the indispensable help of Sigma & Foveon technology.

Barry, I liked the leaf and fly in equal measure , but that is purely subjective.
Just wait till you see my third image tonight, hopefully.

Thanks again for commenting it is very nice to have feedback to help me progress.

Lots of impact in this image David.

I agree with Major that it has a kind of unnatural look, which is what I thjnk gives it extra impact.

Cheers

Austin

Hi David

Great detail as usual - I quite like the lighting as the eye seems to have really picked up the flash giving the impression of slight side lighting from a fairly low setting sun!
