It's hard to stop shooting the flint hills just because the sun goes down. I wasn't in the best of spots for dramatic rolling hill silhouettes so I just started shooting where I was standing and adjusted with this cropped down version.
The color about 45 minutes after sunset Saturday night was awesome as Scott B. has shown as well. It just kept getting darker and richer. Oh yeah there was a waxing moon out for about an hour as well.
I'm thinkin' I'll have to try more of these.

I love the glow on the hills, Brad, with a hint of sunbeam. I witnessed the sunset at Wilson Lake, with long beams of light, the moon, and a car full of kids who wouldn't let me stop :(.

Awesome shot Brad! Love the detail you can see in the moon.

I took some photos of the same moon. Not as nice as yours.
