Hi,

Managed a couple of hours in Richmond Park on Saturday prior to having to go off and do other family related things and of course a cup of coffee at Sevenoaks on the way home.

This was more of a session trying out a new Camera body... but I had a nice time with this family by the side of Pen Ponds.

All the best

Phil

It's a bit of an untidy time of year for the youngsters, neither juvenile nor adult plumage. That's nicely executed shot Phil.

Hi Phil

As Eric said many birds are far from their best at this time but I can understand your desire to try out your new toy. Certainly appears to be delivering the goods - nice image!

Ah i know the place well-nice sharp image, I will be interested in your thoughts on the 50D at higher ISO, I have seen images at ISO800 and they are horrible with noise starting to show after 400

Really pleasing portrait shot. Plenty of detail and good pov. Hope you enjoy your 50d, I certainly like mine much more than the 40d. :toast: :toast:
