About two years ago i had a hard disk crash wich made me lose years of photography work as both my external hard disks crashed at the same time. I have been able to get many new images this last year but still feel bad whenever i think of the trip i made to Australia and the images i have lost from that trip.
When i came across a DVD i had made back then from the trip i found some low res jpeg's of the trip on it and this was one of them. Not a very exclusive species but one i had a lot of fun with whilst photographing it.
I think i will go to a data recovery agency one of these days to recover the lost images from the hard disk although that will propably cost me around 2000.- euro's...
So for old times sake..here's on oldie from down under..

Beautiful - great detail, light, colours and the BG compliments the bird well!

Superb shot Jeroen, brings back fond memories of watching these lovely birds as we sat around our camp whilst travelling down under. Hope you manage to recover those lost images, it'll be 2000 euros well spent I think!
