Common Frog..
I was called out to a garden by a person who was a little distressed because a 'snake' was eating her frogs from the pond..! After some helpful advice and general discussion the person is now quite tolerant of her serpentine visitors and has since rung me to say when it is the garden should I wish to go and get some photos.. Anyway, I couldn't resist taking my camera and getting a few shots of the amphibian residents whilst i was there and here is one of them.

Kind regards,

Brett

I like that Brett, especially the eye and the reflection.

Agree with Eric about the eye, Brett. I wonder what it might look like if there was enough canvas in 'pano' style?

No Brett dont you maean you couldn't resit taking the Frog before it was to late?

This is a excellent image of the Frog along with the reflection. Just the job how that Duckweed is just clear enough for you to do it.

Major.

It's a pity it might end up as some snake's dinner.  All part of Life's rich tapestry. Classic frog image expertly taken.

Beautiful reflection, the head is a little large in the frame for my taste, but that's a personal thing.

Very nice Brett - I like the composition and you were fortunate to have that small clearing in the duck weed to capture the reflection!

As far as frogs go its as good as any hopper picture I've seen.

Very nice Frog shot

Might be worth waiting for the snake to come back

Classic Frog nicely imaged, I might have been tempted to add a little fill with a reflector from the left, only a little mind...

Really nice portrait - the reflection lifts it from the norm.

Cheers,

I know you have been after this type of shot with the weed for a while, not a bad start for a youngster!!

Hello Brett.

Very nice and one of the best frog images I have seen for a while.

I think I would have liked a little more room on this one but thats just me.

The only nit for me would be the white spot bottom right.
