White Sands Trip
I finally managed to go through all my images from White Sands National Monument, NM. A friend and I camped out there for one night (8/10) and it was a fantastic experience! Here are some of my favorite photos.

And for the rest I've uploaded on my Website.

Great stuff! That first one took my breath away! Great colors and comps all around.

I once intended to camp out there on a drive back from the East Coast. Unfortunately, it was Presidents' Day weekend, and it would've been me and about 30 Cub Scouts, who got there before I did. Pass...

Nice stuff, Michael! I really like that first one.

White Sands is such a cool place. It has so many different "faces" depending on the light, the time of day, and the weather. It can be quiet and peacful, violent with blowing sand, harsh and contrasty in the midday sun, or anywhere inbetween. That first image really captures the tranquil, pastel tones that you sometimes see at sunset and sunrise. Nice shot!

I like the first one a lot and the second one next. I also like IMG_4262.jpg from your website.

That first one needs to be HUGE! What a fantastic shot. The others are excellent, too, but #1 is in a class all by itself.

Gorgeous colors on all, but that 1st one really hits it out of the park.

Outstanding images, and #1 is otherworldly!

Great stuff. I LOVE White Sands and with a kid in school at Roswell I have 2 or 3 chances to shoot there every year when we retrieve her or take her back following breaks. The first time I shot there a couple years ago there were F-117 stealths flying over all morning on their way to the bombing range.

Great series, Michael! My favorites are actually the two shots following the horizontal version of your top post here (on your website). Cool place!

Great series. #1 is just about as good as it gets.

Nice Michael! #1 and #4 are tied for my favorite. Both captured beautiful pastel-colored light and interesting patterns in the foreground.

I really love the color of the sand in the first image. Great detail as well.
