Clean and simple and well proportioned Tony. The colour of the plumage works well with the pebbles and is very sympathetic, however I am not sure about the horizon cutting through the head/body, although it doesn't worry me

A very nice shot, my only comment I would make is to crop of what I believe you call on this forum, the foreground mush, I personally would call it foreground ****, as I don't think it adds anything to the image, and with its removal you increase the attention on the main subject.

Horizon is fine, as it was what it was.

Hi Tony

Nice light, colours and subject. I maybe would crop a little from the bottom but the horizon doesn't bother me too much!

A little off the bottom would be an improvement I think but the horizon is fine IMO. Its a pretty gradual change of colour rather than a distinct sharp line. Nice one.

I'd probably put a mild graduated grey filter on it in Photoshop from the bottom setting the blend mode to multiply just to take the prominence off the foreground. But I think the horizon line looks great.

I like this as it is , sharp, clean and bright, as it was.

Really nice! I vote for a little off the bottom (then maybe from the left for balance). Everything else spot on for me.

All works well 'as is' for me Tony, I'm sure there a re a good number of cropping options but I like the FG 'mush' so if you like it.. Stick with it..
