Small copper enjoying the sun
One from a series of butterfly images I have been working on recently where I have been trying to capture the essence of backlighting through the wings.

Very nice work Paul although I feel it lacks a little DOF which I appreciate is very difficult to obtain when in this pose. Also trying to keep the BG neutral. A nice project which will continue to reap rewards I'm sure.

Hi Paul

A little different. I think this POV has worked well - I like it!

Works really well, as said, a different viewpoint. Great stuff :toast:

As DK says, ‘a little different’. The perspective gives a refreshing view and reveals a lovely symmetry in the subject. Nice approach.

Cheers,
Chris

Hello Paul

Thats a refreshing take on a butterfly image. This is not an easy subject as they can be flighty so you have managed a great shot here.
