Greenshank...
Taken at the weekend whilst out and about with Tony Flashman, the tide was out and this nearby 'scrape' was sparsely populated with a few sleeping waders and one or two other species. This Greenshank came relatively close and offered the chance for me to grab a few shots to add to the library having never photographed them before.

Have a good day folks,

Brett

Nice reflection, Brett. One of my target species for this year, so I'll try not to be too jealous

Classic reflection pose. A very nice addition to your library indeed.

Great pose and composition - if it wasn't for the green legs my initial reaction was a B & W image!

It does have a bit of a monochrome feel to it, I like that its really highlighted those legs. Great stuff :toast:

I recognise that 'shank !

Nice shot :toast: Glad that trek across the fields was worth it

After deciding against going down there yesterday evening I heard that some jammy ******* had a red-footed falcon perch on the exposed mud

Quality Image there... the viewpoint from that hide isn't too steep.

I echo David K's comments - had to look twice to see if it was B&W.
Good solid stock image with all the right elements to make it sell.

Cheers,
Chris
