This one I found amusing, it was the eldest of three chicks and was always the first to come down for a feed .It would land 40 or 50 feet away then run the rest of the way. If the techs look a little strange I was set up for the flight part of the trip not the running.

We have all seen pictures of horses or cheetahs like this, but a little owl? That's something different. Congratulations on a truly original shot.

Yes a great unusual shot - one for the LO maestro, the Major, to try and better now!
Is it a big crop? - there is a fair bit of background noise evident for ISO 800, ie it could do with running through your noisware programme to reduce the background granularity?
Thanks all for looking. The crop on this left about 40% of full frame left in the picture but I agree about the noise , I get that a lot , bad processing I guess. These little birds do run a lot when on the ground; last year when this shot was taken I often had two or three running around in front of me competing for food. They would land say 15 yards away then run, hop and fly to the food. This year they nested in a near by farm and would only visit this site now and then.
