About 3 years ago, we attached a green ribbon to the
antenna of our car, so we could identify other members
when we were out and about in the fall season.

I suggest that we do something similar this fall.

I'm in.

Thanks for bringing this up Art. I'll have to figure something out, as my antenna snapped off a couple years ago! DOH!

Doerzman you don't need to bother your not allowed in the mountains.

Look for my green ribbon, too. Although my trips will consist of short 2 or 3 day shots at the weekends.

I don't have an antenna but I suppose I'll figure something out!

Likewise, I don't have an external antenna, embedded in window. So I will attach it to my Yakima rack.

Will this work?

Well, we don't need to worry about spotting Phillip! Then again, he'll most likely be in a ditch since he won't be able to see very well! :jump:

That shot is priceless Phillip!!!

LOL, Phillip!
I will be tying a green ribbon to my antenna as soon as I get back to the store. This is a great idea. But what about when we are outside of our cars? Should we tie another one to our packs?

I'll tie a green ribbon around my motorcycle handlebars and the antenna of my Yota.

Everytime I look at Phillips ribbon it cracks me up! Count me In. I'm planning on 5 days the first week of October. Maroon bells, Marble, Kebler, SilverJack, Ridgeway.

I'm in with the ribbon.

Maybe we should get another RMNP sticker up on the store. The current one is cool, but its kinda hard to see at a distance because it doesn't have enough contrast. Any volunteers for working up a new RMNP sticker?

Edit:This would work, too.

Good idea, I'll be in the Aspen and CB areas the last week of Sept.

I'll play-the ScoobyDoo's ready to roll! (my nickname for the Subaru Forrester)

Maybe I will just have to buy a green car!

I am just imagining every car around CB with a green ribbon for a week or two!

Don't forget to wear a bright green shirt or jacket as well when you are up on the rocks around Bear Lake as well.

I'm down.

I'll be a weekend worrior as well but I think I can find something green to attach to areas of my truck that won't obscure my view. If off trail I'll most likely be attached to a black and white, uber-hyper Border Collie named Aidan

I can do the green ribbon, or maybe some green racing strips!
