hi pete

great shot and detail, for the magnification and crop, are they hard to shoot in flight ?

Considering distance they were not too bad to track, I think had they been nearer they would have been a bit harder but a fuller frame and more detail....

The 2x worked well with the 500mm, I was well chuffed...

Lovely shot Pete. I got great views of the immature pair on Lagoon 4 when I was at the bird fair. When they are on that perch and Burleigh House is the back drop, it's a great view !!

For a large crop this has come out very nicely, especially considering the addition of a 2x convertor as well. Very well done.

Pete

Well done two very nice shots. The second one has the edge for me. Osprey make great subject matter and they have exceptional sight along with fishing skills. One of my favorite species.

Two really nice shots despite the crop there Peter. I'm always impressed by Osprey shots as they are one of my favourite birds..
