Make mine a double!
Tonight I was reminded of something I heard photolosopher Dewitt Jones say at a seminar I attended many years ago. To paraphrase: "If you go out one evening to shoot lightning, but Mother Nature is doing rainbows that evening, then by gosh, you'd better do rainbows!"

Very nice Todd, I've seen quite a few of these this year, but never had my rig with me. Congrats on this nice shot.

Dewitt Jones' article every other month is about the only reason I keep my Outdoor Photographer subscription. He must be something to experience in a seminar.
Wonderful light, color, and clarity.

NIce capture. As mentioned above there seems to be quite a few double rainbows especially in Colorado.

I must have my head in the sand cuz I see precious few of these and haven't seen one all summer! Sweet shot.

Sweet - you've captured some great close to home stuff from this area!

This is beautiful, Todd! I love the colors and the way that light is hitting the center trees.

Not to mention that beautiful magenta-purple sky...definite potential 2010 calendar material.

Nice shot, Todd. It pays to be ready for whatever. Another fan of DJones.

Great double rainbow, what superb luck to have shot in an area without buildings (as I always seem to do).
