Killdeer 2
Seeing Barry Southerns put one up i thought i would share one from Saturdays shoot, Taken in a dry part of a very large lake, The fresh grass was very vibrant so i didnt need any saturation here, It will probably be under water this time next week-more images on todays blog

Habitat too bland for me, nice shot of the Killdeer, you did well to keep the burnt out areas to a minimum.

Lovely image, could you get a cleaner background! Highlights the bird really well.

Hi Dave

I thought I posted on this one last night - I must have pressed the wrong button. I love it, the shallow DOF with the thin line of in focus grass really works. Maybe a tiny bit more room at the bottom of the frame but that is minor!

Sorry not for me as this could have been taken on my front lawn, I like at least some indication of habitat. The Killdeer itself is well worked.

Nits covered but a fine shot.. Little more room at the bottom would have made it stronger in my opinion as well. Nice study and controlled DOF.

Nice control of depth of field. Up to your normal standard.
