Hi, I am thinking about heading down to the Necedah Wildlife Refuge and was wondering if they close it down around hunting season. I've been going out to the Mead Wildlife Area but that has signs that it is closed from September 1-December 10. I've never been to Necedah so I'm curious if it's the same way. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Clayton,
Google Necedah Wildlife Refuge...These are the hours according to the website.

Refuge Headquarters and Visitor Contact Station - 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday and weekends during high visitation seasons. Wildlife Drive and Outdoor Facilities - dawn to dusk year round.

They do allow hunting but it looks like they are still open to the public.
Have fun!!
