These are some shots of the sunflowers I took last week. They are probably past prime now, and I'm not sure anyone would want to got shoot these anyway. Because as I walked out of the field and crossed the fence at the back of the Grange, I saw these yellow signs warning of plague! . Which I did not see in the dark when I walked out into the field.
The first one I liked because of the warm light.

The second I liked because of it's shape.

And the third I liked because of it's attitude of "right back at you, sun."

I really dig the second one with the oof bkg and vignetting.

I like these in the reverse order they're posted in. #3 is so nice because of its simplicity. I could see intensifying the blue sky a bit. I really like the apparent vignetting in #2, it really sets off the main subject.

With Todd on the order of this nice set. #3 is the most appealing of the set. It would be interesting to see what happens with Todd's suggestion on bumping the sky a little.

Ditto Todd and Steven.

I like the 3rd one, might reduce the vignetting a little. Good work.

My favorites are also in reverse order.
That's a lovely, well lit portrait you have there with #3. Also agree with eliminating the vignette.

Morris, I love the last one. A happy photo.

Nice! That second shot is awesome. Not sure if its worth getting the plague for, but close anyhow

I really like 2, then 3, then 1. Get your haz-mat suit on, then you don't have to worry about the plague!

That's pretty funny, Don. I wish now I had one with me. I have mysteriously come down with a "cold", Anyone know the symptoms of the plague?
Thanks again to everyone for your comments!

I'm with Todd. I like these in reverse order. The last two are really nice.
